Ft. Worth Stock Show = Good Times!!! =)

This weekend our family went to the Ft. Worth Stock show with some new friends we have made here within the apartment community. We all had a great time and it was such a great experience for the boys. They got to explore tractors and other farm equipment, see all different kinds of farm animals, even meet Lucy the cow, Kristopher's cousins show cow. It was a lot of fun. Fun enough that this is a tradition we will keep each and every year! =)

As you can tell we had a great time! Definitely an activity to experience again!!!

Reed's 1st Day of Pre-School

We decided that it is time for Reed to go to school. As many of you know, he has a major seperation problem from me. Being the last child I tend to give in a bit too much. (There, I admitted it!) But it is hard to do anything when he wants to be held all the time. So, we started him in 1 day a week preschool at our church, The Met. He went from being excited and happy to crying saying he wanted to go home to "mommy's house" and watch a movie. I had a hard time but I did it. And when I went to pick him up, I was so excited to see him. Here are a couple pictures from his BIG first day...

Ready for school!!

Pick up time.  He was just fine!

Trip to Arizona!

The holidays wouldn't be complete if I couldn't see my family in Arizona. We left the day after Christmas to go see our AZ family. We had such a great time. Visiting with family, friends and most of all, reconnecting as a family. While our stay wasn't long, the time together made an impact on us for the rest of our lives. We are so thankful for our loved ones out there. We miss y'all too!!!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!

Christmas Day started a little earlier than J and I would have liked. Garrett decided that it was time to get up at 2:45am. Once he realized that Santa had been to his house he woke everyone up! Yes, at 2:45AM! So, J and I got up so they could see what they got from santa but insisted they go back to bed. That didn't go so hot. About every 30 minutes they were waking us up to see what time it was and could they open their presents yet. It was a very short night's sleep!

This was at 2:45am!!!!!

Reed in his Mustang GT! He was scared of it at first but LOVES it now!

Christmas Eve Fun!

Christmas Eve we had a HUGE surprise in Texas. We knew that we were going to get some snow but we had no idea we would get so much! =) None the less, we went to Christmas Eve service, opened up our 1 traditional gift, pajamas, and journeyed over to Nana Marsha and Papa Tink's house. A normal 30 minute trip took over 2 hours! Here are some snapshots of the day..... enjoy....

The boys and their ZuZu Pets!

Garrett's Class Party

This school year, I have the opportunity to be the room mom for Garrett's first grade class. His teacher, Mrs. del Valle, is a wonderful lady who has such a heart for her children. I just love the way she is with the kids.
As Garrett's room mom, I get the chance to plan 2 parties in the year. The first one was yesterday. It took so much time and energy to plan but it was over in 45 minutes! It was so worth it though.
We did a few different activities in stations. One station was decorating gingerbread men. The others were tic-tac-toe, holiday tattoos, making reindeer food and finally snacks! They had a blast. Here are some pictures....

Garrett making his gingerbread man! =) This was all the kids favorite part!

Mrs. del Valle was in charge of tattoos. The kiddos LOVED it!

As always, a shot of me and my little man... I love you, Garrett!!

Ethan's Christmas Program

Yesterday I got the chance to attend Ethan's Christmas program at his preschool, New Creations. For the first time I had the chance to see my middle child perform on stage, without his older brother, and he was great. I was so proud of him doing all the motions and participating. He was so cute. Here are some pictures....

Reed and I waiting for the program to start... Reed had gum in his mouth! =)

Ethan coming in. He was so excited!! He played Joseph, as you will see.

I was so proud of him. He did a great job. And the teachers are AMAZING with the kids!
